Oh adlm, you're such lovable douchebag.

@Sixten: while I appreciate the offer and I'm (as always) impressed by your work, I'm not going to be transferring creative control of UGM to anyone. For better or worse, UGM is and has always been my comic, and I'd like to let it end in my own fashion.

I understand how you feel as a creator. UGM is yours, and I will respect your wishes. I will withdraw my offer now, although I may be advertising a new Magic-related comic with a new cast of characters here pretty soon.

Jason, thank you for all the hard work you've put into UG Madness all these years. I may have caused you trouble, but I've always enjoyed reading your comic. Thank you for entertaining me and Magic players around the world, and good luck with school and your comedy troupe in the future.

I leave for a mere 16 months only to find this? Lame.

I'll just make my own webcomic with blackjack and hookers. Actually, forget the webcomic.

This is a risky proposal, Jason.

Is there any chance...

That you would still do the Garfies once in a while?

Perhaps not abiding by their regular schedule...and not as many as before..

I would also love that, if only an ending Garfies...

Is there any chance...

That you would still do the comic for the rest of your life?

Perhaps abiding by their regular schedule (for once)...and not as many bad ones as before..

I read the first few strips of Tap to Laugh. The first three strips weren't super funny, but they did show a sense of humor, and there should be potential for good jokes once we get to know more about the characters. Also the art is good and unique. Overall, good job. A good first step toward filling the void left by Jason.

Forum's filter out swears, characters have been plagiarized off of Sesame Street (combo monster looks like grover after his gut has been shot in) and glover (the hand fucker fuck fuck guy). The jokes are cheesy, not funny, and not much actual "action" is shown in the comics: frankly they look like talking heads so why even bother drawing anything.
If anything, while this comic may be a step in filling the "void" that Jason left us it is a step backwards. I can only hope that T2L is going through the weird phase that most webcomics do where the jokes aren't that funny, the characters aren't that memorable and most of them get discarded off, and the art is shitty.
unfortunately as Jason proved, sometimes webcomics never brake away from that phase

If he's just starting out. I'm sure he can improve. Good luck to him.
