Default Roadblocks

so, what cards pop up in your games that aren't your typical roadblock. For instance, most multi games will see a board clearer every few turns, at least if you play for the kill.

what i wanna know is what cards made you go, what the heck, and completely turned a game upside down.

two for me, the first was Timesifter. i was hurting in that game, and had nothing else to play as there was also a damping matrix in play (really trips p the untap). after that play, one guy had like ten turns in arow, but at the cost of some incredible creatures, i on the other hand was unable to catch a break as each card removed was a land, and i Really Really needed those.

Another card i played in another game was Zur's Weirding. i dunno what i was thinking when i played it, but while i started out with the upper hand, me edge quickly deteriorated when an oppenent had a pious kitsune, eitght and a half tails, and worship. i went about ten turns without drawing cards as he whittled me down. ouch.

A few weeks ago, we played chaos with 6 players. All I drew an played during the first 7 turns were lands, moxes, a top, and other stuff like that. My draw for turn 8 was a Warp World......... On my side came into play:2x Akroma (white & red), Avatar of Woe, Verdant Force, Gaea's Cradle, Enslave (enchanting opponet's Niv-Mizzet), so the game ended quite soon after that......

I have a deck...
Teferi's Puzzle Box and Timesifter...
Are both scary.
Especially if you combine the puzzle box with the Great Big Mizzet, as I like to call him.
Another card is Confusion in the Ranks. I have a Confusion deck that makes people hate me. But they can't do anything, because I Own All Creatures.

Taunting Elf is an annoying little bugger.

I was playing my Torrent of Souls deck in Emperor and was basically mana screwed. The Emperor was playing RDW. He sent over some of his creatures to me, they died because I ran out of life. The guy who killed me off attacks with a Treetop Scout with, not one, but two Alpha Statuses on it, and Taunting Elf. He would've lived if Taunting Elf hadn't attacked (or if he sided in his Pyroclasms like the other Pawn and I suggested in the first place...).

We were 6 people playing two-headed giant. I pulled Ankh of Mishra, Manabarbs and Rivalry in my opening hand. Everyone got pissed at me after the game.
