I found UGM this morning after following a chain of random links, and lost my afternoon reading it all instead of doing housework... only to discover that you're killing it? Why? Why did you do this to me? *sinks to knees and buries face in hands*

Uh... I mean... so hi ^_^

I'm Sam, I'm 23, and just to pre-empt adlm I am not a girl, although I do know a lot of female Magic players, which I think makes me some kind of supergod. I'm a postgraduate research student at Bangor University in Wales, in the field of gaming. I'm into Magic (obviously), L5R, music, roleplaying, videogaming, climbing, martial arts, pro wrestling, historical re-enactment and drinking beer. And... um... that's about it. Sorry. I'm not very interesting.

Also, on the subject of the weapons in #432, the first one actually pretty much works provided she's got a good muscle-mass-to-weight ratio (which frankly she'd have to have, to be wearing that thick half-plate), and assuming the fancy crap on it is the scabbard rather than the blade. Although I find it hard to believe a Bant angel would keep either her sword or scabbard in such bad condition. Anyway. Slow as all hell, but swingable.

As for the last one... uh... yeah I don't know what that's supposed to be. It just wouldn't function as any kind of real-world weapon I can think of. But hey, I guess angels don't have to worry about the haft smacking the ground when they try to swing it.

If you think all that makes me sound pedantic (learning, lol) then hey, look behind you! A three headed monkey!

According to your mentioning of "three headed monkey" behind my back, you seem to like Monkey Island as well. I like you.

As for the nice to be here part, I guess it won't be so much activity here when the comic dies (unless someone is allowed to continue it and whatnot)... Have fun the while it lasts anyway, I guess!
